CELTICS WIN NBA FINALS

Top of the world..... yep thats right Kevin. You finally made it. Great job Celtics! I knew you could do it. Anyway, here is the video of the postgame interview after Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Personally, I think KG is flat out crazy... haha... well I have to admit that I didn't like the Celtics much this year. I really didn't. Not to be racist or anything, but I liked it better when the Celts had Byrd and Russell and guys like that. The Celtics have hardly any white players and its kinda hard to have a role model when he is black becasue he isn't like me. You know what I mean? I'm not as happy as I when the Red Sox won the WS. I think the Red Sox winning the WS was better than the Celts winning their 17th or whatever championship. Thats it.....

Rasheed Wallace Hobo

I didn't watch all of game becasue of homework, but I did see the Celtics win. You know who I can't stand... Rasheed Wallace. He looks like a hobo! He is an NBA all star for crying out loud... and he can't afford a razor or a decent haircut! KG dominated Rasheed against the Pistons Sunday night and are back for another win.

He also looks like Bigfoot.

Lester Tosses No Hitter

After suffering from cancer, lefty Jon Lester threw a no hitter against the Kansas City Royals. This was the first complete game pitched by Lester in his Major League career. Lester has the first thrown no-hitter for this Sox this season. Rookie Clay Buchholz threw a no-hitter during his 2nd major league start last year. But which no-hitter is more impressive, Buchholz's 2nd major league start - or - Lester's comeback from cancer? I think Clay's game was more inpressive because that was his second start. Lester has had more major league experence, although he did have cancer. Jon Lester pitched in Game 4 of the 2007 World Series, with 5 shutout innings. Another thing to know- Jason Veritek has caught the most no-hitters of all time. V-tek has caught 14 no-hitters and looking for more. The Red Sox have thrown the second most no-hitters than any other ballclub.

Ok here we go........spygate

The whole spygate case or whatever is really starting to annoy me. Get this National Football League- You can't change the past! The only thing you can do now is fine the Patriots. Nothing else you can do. It's over now and you can't hop in a time machine, back to the whatever year Superbowl and change things. IT IS OVER- SO SHUT UP ABOUT IT!!!

Ray Allen averaging only 12.7 ppg

During the post season, Ray Allen has only averaged about 13 (12.7) points. Jim Rome discussed on his show that Allen has been having family issues off the court. Rome also said that the Celtics can win the series, but they HAVE to win on the road. Especially against the Pistons. Detroit has been cruising through this post season with ease. I have no doubt that Boston can win the series, if The Big Three can hang together for one more series.

Celtics get ready for game 7...again

Awwwww man! Why does there have to be another game 7? Wasn't the suspence from the first game 7 enough? The Celtics are 6-0 at home and like 7-0 away or whatever. I wonder if the Celtics can stay perfect at home against "King" Lebron or "King" James or (whatever his name is) and the Cavs. Lebron isn't even that good. I was asked at school who was better- Kobe or Lebron? DEFINATLY KOBE! If anyone is the "King" around the NBA it's Kobe Bryant. No matter what, Kobe can score. Even if he is hurt, he can score. Lebron can't. Teams can shut him down all the time.

Papelbon's famous glare

Here is a collection of Jonathan Papelbon's famous glare pictures

Strong Performance from Dice-K

Dice K pitched 6 1/3 strong innings today against the Milwaukee Brewers. The 7 and 0 Matsusaka is starting out like Josh Beckett last year, with 7 straight wins. I'm glad for Diasuke this year, and I am wonder if Opening Day in Japan got him pumped up (haha). But I hope they don't do that again next year, because it was kinda hard to keep up with the Sox. But if this means Dice-K will start out like this again next year, THE SOX ARE GOING BACK TO JAPAN! No, but I'm really speaking too early to applaud Dice-K this early in the season. 調子で頑張って!
(Keep up the good work!)

Manny Still at 498

I hate that some pitchers walk Manny on purpose so that he will not get 500 homeruns. But don't get me wrong, Manny will come back to get 500. Another thing, I have noticed this season that Manny has matured a lot more. He has more concentration this year unlike the past couple years. Just give him a week and he will get to the big 5-0-0.

Celtics 6-0 at, home, 5-0 away

Big Papi with Celtics' all star Kevin Garnett

Isn't it weird that the Celts can't win on the road, but can win at home. I never knew home court advantage had such a big impact on the Celtics. I heard a rumor that Kevin Garnett will only get pumped up before a game if he has a big picture of his face on the video screen before a home game. You might not know what I am talking about, but over center court is the big video screen where the Celtics always play a video of KG's face screaming or something. I can't find the video but I will keep looking.

Buchholz put on DL

On May 5th, Clay Buchholz was placed on the 15-day DL list for a broken nail on the middle finger of his right hand (His throwing hand). Some people may think that is just a girly-girl's excuse, "Omg I broke a nail". But for Clay that is not the story. Your middle finger is actually a big factor when pitching. You put a lot of pressure on your middle finger when you throw. And when you have a hangnail, it really hurts to throw a ball. And besides, its only the 15-day DL so its no big deal anyway. Another reason he was put on the DL was becasue J.D. Drew and Coco Crisp were put on the DL the night before. The Sox had no outfielder and because they had 3 guys on the DL, they could bring up another player- that would be Jonathan Van Every, from Pawtucket. Here is what Buch had to say:

"Sort of the right time for them," Buchholz said, "and the wrong time for me."

Manny Being Manny

Here is the crazy video when Manny jumped up into the stands to give a Red Sox fan a high five.

http://ballhype.com/video/manny_ramirez_catch_high_five_and_throw_for_double/

It's pretty crazy that he got the high five and then threw the guy out at first. The first time I saw the video I didn't know what happened. I didn't even know why the guy didn't get back to the base on time. I think the play was number 2 or 3 on Sports Center's top ten plays, but I think it should have at least been number 1.

Mother's Day Pink Bats

For Mother's Day, the MLB used pink baseball bats. There are different bats for different teams. Each team has their logo on the bat. Personally, I think the whole idea was kinda dumb, but it was good to apprecitate Mother's Day. I mean, what is the MLB going to do for Father's Day, hmmm? You can purchase the bats on MLB.com for about $80 or find some on eBay for less.

I really hate the Twins field

The Minn. Twin's field is just so weird. It looks like an old warehouse with a baseball field in the middle. Its just freaky.

My trip to Greenville, SC

The Mini Green Monster
For Mother's Day, my family and I flew down to Greenville, South Carolina. I took my mom to a Greenville Drive baseball game at Fluor Field (The Greenville Drive are the Single A affiliates to the Red Sox). The Drive's field is a mini version of Fenway Park. It features a mini green monster, retired numbers, and the same dimensions as Fenway (except the dimensions are smaller). The park won The Best Minor League Park of The Year Award when it opened in 2006.

Lebron James Crybaby T-Shirts

When Papa John's made Crybaby 23 t-shirts for the Wizards-Cavs game, Papa Johns sold $0.23 pizzas in Cleveland to apologise for the "mean" shirts. Those suck-ups! Lebron is a crybaby and
he always will be! And besides, Lebron isn't even that good.

Celtics roll past "King" James and the Cavs

First of all, people are saying that Lebron James just "had a bad game in Game 1". SO DID PAUL PIERCE AND RONDO! These (excuse my language) dumb asses think that is an excuse for the Cavs not winning. The Celtics had problems too! And besides, the Celtics ran over the Cavs again, so here: Lebron James cannot handle the Celtics! So I don't want to hear about "King" James and that he is the new MJ. Yeah right! He can't even handle the Celtics!

No Header

I think my header at the top of my page might be a jinks to Papelbon, so I am going to keep it blank until he starts pitching better.

No posts last week

With school finishing up, and exams starting I have been starting to forget about my posts. I will try to post at least one post every other day. So stay with me here. Thank You.

What is with Papelbon latley?

I can't believe that Papelbon just blew 2 saves in a row! I wonder if he is sick or someting. Or maybe he is injured. I'll look for more info and reply later.

Ortiz back in lineup

After sliding head-first into first base on a double play, Ortiz hurt his right leg (which he just had surgery on recently). Ortiz looked better running the bases Monday. He had a little limp in his run, but it is definitely getting better. Some people might be wondering why he slid into first base head-first. Francona told Big Papi to be more aggressive before that game and David was just trying to show a little hustle. But I don't think sliding into first base was what Francona had in mind.

Dice K throws 5 strong innings v.s. Detriot

Event though Matsusaka walked several runners in the first three innings, Dice still found a way to get out of base jams. Here is wat Diasuke had to say about his pitching last night:

"Physically, I was way off today," Matsuzaka said through an interpreter. "Even though I couldn't throw a lot of strikes, my fastball wasn't that bad, and I think [catcher Jason] Varitek did a nice job mixing it up."

After sweeping the Rays - What will happen against the Tigers?

The Sox start the series against the Tigers tonight at 7:05. The 4 and 0 Dice-K will be taking the mound tonight in Detroit. Dustin Pedrioa and the Sox offence looked strong hitting the ball against the Rays last series. I hope that they can do the same this series. I will post the results of tonight's game sometime tomorrow. You can check out the Sox tonight on MLB Gamecast (located at the link section at the top of my page). I think Dice-K will get it done tonight and Boston will take the W.

Marvin Williams hard foul on Rondo

Here is the foul by Marvin Williams (A North Carolina player) on

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OZw4Cdt5xfc&feature=related

Here is a better quality video (close up)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=6QiPlLWXH0Q&feature=related

No wonder Williams did the hard foul! He is a Tarheel!!!!! I can't stand the Tarholes! They are so dirty and NEVER get caught! In this case Williams was ejected, but if it was him doing that to a Duke player, he would have only gotten a tech. Thats bullshit! I say if the Hawks went on to beat the Celtics, Marvin Williams should have gotten suspended for at least 7 games (If the Hawks lasted that long). That is probly the hardest foul I have ever seen in the NBA ever. GO CELTICS!

And another thing, if Williams was trying to get back at the Celtics for the whole Garnett - Pachulia deal, why did he go for Rondo? Rondo never did anything wrong.

Celtics v.s. Cavs predictions

Since the Cavs have Lebron and the Celts have Allen, Garnett, Pierce, and Rondo, I think the Celts will win the series simply because Cleveland is a one man team. Boston has Rondo and Pierce who I think could match up with King James. So, if James is shut down, do you think someone else for the Cavs could step up. I don't think so. The Celts just have too many dominant players who can make plays. I think the series could end at 5 games with the Celts taking the series.

Celtics Abusing Hawks (So far)

Well, it looks like this one is in the books. It's only the 3rd quarter and the Celts are just blowing them out. The Hawks can't stop Boston. The Celtics are just making Atlanta wishing they had never been born. Haha! I love it! The Hawks thought they had it and were going to pull a great upset!, but NO! The Big Three in Boston are not gonna have that. From ally-oop, to behind the back pass, to and 1, I am loving this game even more by the second! Wow, I would hate to be a Hawks fan right now. On Friday in the ATL, all of the Hawks fans had those signs about the Hawks winning and that they were gonna pull the upset. It dosen't even look like a game anymore. SEE YOU LATER HAWKS!!!!!!!

Sox take Rays 7-3

Early runs were no problem for Boston Friday. That big run they had in the 4th inning was just what the ballclub needed to win. I think this game will jumpstart the Sox for the next couple games. Can Beckett get it done tonight? I have no idea. But if even Beckett has a great game, it won't matter if the Sox can't produce runs. But - if the Sox can do what they did last night, they could sweep the Rays this series. Check out the photo gallery of Fridays game: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/components/game/year_2008/month_05/day_02/gid_2008_05_02_tbamlb_bosmlb_1/av/fgallery.html

Buchholz, Bullpen get it done once again

Clay out scored all of the Ray's bullpen last night with 6 K's and only 5 hits. I'm tellin ya, the Sox bullpen is the best in the league right now. You got Beckett, Matsusaka, Buchholz, Wakefield, and Lester. Plus Pap in the in pen along with Okajima. Enough said.

Celtics loss takes game 7 back to Boston

I thought the Celts had Atlanta the whole time, but I guess Paul Pierce and the boys just fell apart. I don't know what happened at the end. I took a break from watching the Celtics to check up on Buch and the Sox. That little run they had in the 4th inning was great. That is exactly what Boston needs to win ballgames. O well, the Celtics can take the Hawks back to Madison Square and win game 7 there. The fans in Boston are going to go crazy during game 7 and get the Celtics fired up. Don't worry, because the big three is ready this time.

Visit http://www.nba.com/playoffs2008/index.html for more on the playoffs

So tired of the Hawks

The Big Three better step it up tonight before I have to watch the damn Hawks on TV one more time.

Clay Buchholz?

Can Clay get it done tonight? The Rays don't have tons of sluggers - but - the Sox's offence needs to act fast or Dioner Navarro will. Navarro has a batting average of .400, (and an average of .333 against righties [like Buchholz]) and is looking strong. If Buch can get it done- then the Sox are ready to roll! Tune into tonight's game at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2008_05_02_tbamlb_bosmlb_1&mode=gameday . (The game has been postponed due to rain delays, and will start as soon as the rain clears up)

Celtics v.s. Hawks Game 5 Results (April 30th)

I don't have a lot to say about the game but that Paul Pierce stepped it up. The guys at ESPN said that in order for the Celts to go all the way, Pierce needed to step it up. He did his thing in game 5 to get the W for Boston. Bottom line: For the Celts to win tonight, they will need to make the Hawks a three-point shooting team. It worked in game 5 and it will work again. The Hawks are a fast-paced team, and if you slow them down, they are beatable.

Last Couple Red Sox games:

The last couple Sox games have really started out slow. Boston has had a couple of walk off singles in the last two or three games. The Sox bullpen is great this year. I think they have one of the best pins in the league. Boston's offence has not been producing lately with hardy any runs in the first innings. I hate to say this but the Sox need to start making more contact and producing runs or they could be in big trouble. I mean, 4 hits v.s. the Jays last night! Come on boys, get it together. As far as the bullpen, keep it up.

Hot Item: Phiten Titanium Necklaces

Have you noticed many of the Red Sox players wearing those necklaces? I have two of them (One of each World Series that I have seen the Red Sox win) and I like them very much. I think Lester, Pedroia, Wakefield, Lowell, Beckett, Matsusaka, Okajima and Buckholtz wear them. I suggest getting one (even though they are expensive) to support the Sox. Here is the Phiten website http://phitenusa.com/ . [Below is a picture of Dustin Pedroia wearing one.]

Experts Picking Celtics to win Game 5

I thought the Celtics would sweep the Hawks, but I guess that didn't happen. Today, while I was watching PTI, Sports Center, and Around the Horn the experts on the shows were picking the Celts tonight. I think the Celtics are good and pissed off from the other night and want to seek revenge. I'm chosing the Celtics over the Hawks, 95 to 87

Great Picture

I know that the World Series is over haha but I just thought this was a damn halarious picture.

Lester!!!

Jon Lester pitched eight shutout innings with six strikeouts against the Jays. Its good to see Lester back heathy this season. He started out great this year, and is looking pretty consistant. The Sox bullpen looks strong, which will help them this postseason. Did you happen to see Dustin Pedroia's awesome diving stop? Here is the link. (One of the greatests plays ever) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?mid=200804302613155. I can't wait to the (undefeated0 Dice K pitch tonight! The game starts at 7:05

Papelbon: One of my favorite Sox players ever

Pap's energy is so great. He is always pumped up. Thats what is so good about him. And plus, who can't forget this picture.
